Dr. Brikhna Atmar
Dr. Atmar graduated from IUPUI where she completed her Bachelors in Biology and a minor in Psychology. She then attended Indiana University School of Dentistry and graduated in 2000 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. Upon graduating Dr. Atmar was the recipient of the Excellence in Prosthodontics Waterpik Award. She completed a one-year general practice residency at Wishard Hospital in 2001 and then was asked to stay on board to continue teaching. Dr. Atmar taught chairside oral surgery to third and fourth year dental students and residents.
Dr. Atmar has been full time with Gentle Dentist since completing her residency in 2001. Her philosphy is to provide the best care possible and to treat every patient as she would want to be treated. Dr. Atmar says an important rule to remember is that the best way to maintain a radiant smile is to prevent problems before they start, through regular brushing, flossing and dental checkups. Dr. Atmar is a member of the American Dental Association and Indiana Dental Association.
Dr. Atmar lives in Zionsville with her husband and their four children. They have three girls and one boy. Dr. Atmar enjoys cooking for her family, and spending as much time with them as she can. She also enjoys traveling whether it is quick getaways with her family or long trips abroad to visit family and friends.
Dr. Anne Wilmore
Dr. Wilmore received her undergraduate degree from Purdue University, West Lafayette. She earned her Doctorate in Dentistry from Indiana University School of Dentistry and continued her education with additional training through the Richard L. Roudebush Veterans Administration Medical Center in Indianapolis, where she completed a residency in general practice. Dr. Wilmore spent several years as an Associate in a private practice in Tipton, Indiana. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association, and the Indianapolis District Dental Society.
Dr. Wilmore was an Assistant Professor in the Preventive Dentistry department at the Indiana University School of Dentistry, where she also conducted clinical research entitled, “Assessing The Cariogenicity of Diet and Non-Diet Soft Drinks”, studying soft drinks and tooth decay. She won several scholarships and awards for this research including the Proctor & Gamble Award For Excellence in Preventive Oral Health Care. The research was presented in Hawaii at the national convention of The American Association For Dental Research.
Dr. Wilmore always wanted to pursue a career that involved patient care. She has found much enjoyment in dentistry , which is the ideal mix of art and science. Dr. Wilmore loves meeting new people and strives to provide the best dental care for each individual with a soft touch and a kind heart.
Dr. Wilmore lives in Indianapolis with her husband, Alex, an arborist, and their two children. In her spare time, Dr. Wilmore enjoys reading to her children, trying new arts and crafts, and gardening.
Dr. Larry Pauley
Dr Pauley has practiced dentistry for over 13 years in Central Indiana. After receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Indiana University, he attended Indiana University School of Dentistry. His commitment to dentistry is proven through his many continuing education classes.
Dr. Pauley believes in building a foundation of trust by treating patients as special individuals is vital to success. He understands how uneasy some patients may feel about their dental visits, and how he can make a difference in providing a relaxing and positive experience.
